PARK MEADOWS UPGRADE UNVEILED

Park Meadows Shopping Centre has officially opened its upgraded spaces and unveiled an expanded retail mix, marking a new era for shoppers in JHB East. The centre now offers a refreshed environment, modernised interiors, and improved convenience features designed to elevate the everyday shopping experience.

The upgrades include a contemporary building façade, updated interiors, and speciality parking bays created to accommodate larger vehicles. These improvements were designed with the community in mind, ensuring the centre remains easy to navigate, comfortable and welcoming.

Park Meadows Shopping Centre has now welcomed a strong line-up of new retailers, including Continental Linen, Goddess Café, JAM Clothing, Kreme Beauty Lounge, MojoBeds, Queenspark and Touch of Style, all of which are officially open and trading. Dial-a-Bed and MojoBeds have also unveiled their elevated new store designs, providing a modernised look and feel. Verde Café will join the centre from 15 December 2025, adding a fresh new café experience for shoppers. As part of ongoing development, Food Lover’s Market will also be expanding to include a new liquor section, which is still to come and will offer additional value and variety once launched.

A major highlight of this new chapter is the opening of Woolworths on the 27th November. The centre now offers the full Woolworths experience with Woolworths Food, WCafé and WEdit all under one beautifully designed roof. Shoppers can enjoy premium fresh food, daily baked goods, heat-and-enjoy convenience meals and everyday favourites at Woolworths Food; take a break at WCafé with barista-crafted coffee, baked treats and wholesome light meals; and browse modern, curated fashion and lifestyle pieces at WEdit, all working together to deliver a seamless, elevated retail experience.

Opening day was a true celebration for the community. Kaya FM broadcast live from the mall, shoppers enjoyed tastings and product testers, and families had the opportunity to explore the upgraded centre and newly opened stores for the first time. The atmosphere was vibrant from the start, and customer feedback has been exceptionally positive.

To celebrate these upgrades, Park Meadows is running a festive competition where shoppers stand a chance to win their share of R35 000 in Woolworths vouchers.
